Feinman & Childs Family Law is a Pennsylvania family law firm focused exclusively on divorce and related family law matters. Our attorneys represent individuals and families throughout Montgomery County, the Main Line, Philadelphia, and surrounding communities, providing strategic counsel, clear guidance, and strong advocacy during some of life’s most difficult transitions.
Our History
Feinman & Childs Family Law continues the legacy of the firm formerly known as Vetrano | Vetrano & Feinman, LLC. Attorneys Sarinia M. Feinman and Lindsay H. Childs were both partners at the firm, where they honed their legal skills and professional judgment as family law practitioners under the mentorship of founding partner Kate Vetrano.
In 2025, following Kate Vetrano’s retirement, Sarinia and Lindsay assumed leadership of the practice and continued its exclusive focus on family law cases, maintaining a commitment to helping families navigate divorce and related matters in an amicable and family-centric manner when possible, while remaining prepared to litigate when needed.
A Family-Centered Approach Backed by Courtroom Strength
We understand that family law matters involve more than legal issues alone. Divorce, custody, and support disputes can affect a family’s emotional well-being, financial stability, and long-term relationships. Our approach is grounded in respect, preparation, and practical problem-solving.
When cases can be resolved through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, collaborative law, or other alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods, we pursue solutions designed to reduce conflict and move matters forward efficiently. When disputes cannot be resolved outside of court, we are experienced and effective litigators, prepared to advocate decisively for our clients. We feel it’s important for our clients to know that whatever direction the case takes, whether we need a four-way meeting or a four-day trial, their attorney will be with them and representing their best interests every step of the way.
Our Family And Divorce Lawyers
Managing Partner Sarinia M. Feinman worked as an attorney with Vetrano for 10 years, before becoming a named partner in 2015 and then taking over the firm in 2025. With over 20 years of experience, Ms. Feinman handles much of the firm’s litigation and highly contentious cases. She has an exceptional ability to successfully negotiate settlements for her clients while still having the ability to change courses, if the case does. She is an effective litigator and strong advocate for her clients, if and when warranted.
Partner Lindsay Childs worked with Vetrano for 10 years before becoming a partner in 2021. Ms. Childs is a trained mediator and certified parenting coordinator, helping families resolve ongoing custody disputes and day-to-day parenting conflicts efficiently and with less court involvement when possible. She is also an experienced litigator who represents clients in complex and contested divorce, custody, and support matters.
Associate Sonam J. Vachhani joined the firm in May 2026, and she represents clients in divorce, child custody issues, child support, property division, protection from abuse and related matters. She is known for her thoughtful, detail-oriented approach and her courtroom experience, professionalism, and steady presence make her a trusted advisor for clients navigating significant family transitions.
Together, our attorneys provide clients with balanced representation, supporting resolution when possible and strong courtroom advocacy when necessary.
Professional Leadership and Recognition
Our attorneys have served in leadership and service roles within the legal community and have been recognized for their work in family law. That experience strengthens the quality of representation we provide, combining legal knowledge, strong professional standards, and a clear understanding of what matters most to families.
Both partners have been noted many times for excellence with recognitions such as Super Lawyers and Main Line Today Top Lawyers. Both have also held positions with and spoken at events run by local associations including the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) and the Montgomery Bar Association (MBA); most recently Sarinia was named Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Family Law Section and Lindsay presented at an American Bar Association Family Law Section event.
Sonam J. Vachhani has also been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2024, 2025 and 2026, and is being featured in the 2026 Super Lawyers magazine.
